FAQ

What age is this for?

It is built for around age 7 and up, roughly 2nd through 5th grade. There is nothing to read before you start, so younger children can explore it too.

Do I need to install anything?

No. It runs in any web browser, it is free, and there is no signup or account.

Does it work on a tablet?

Yes. Every sandbox is drag-and-tap, which works well on a touch screen.

For parents and teachers

Each sandbox isolates a single variable, which fits the NGSS 3-PS2 force-and-motion expectations: children change one input and observe the effect rather than being told the rule first. It works best if you ask your child to predict the outcome before they press the button.
